Travel Vaccinations

Information and advice for travelling abroad

Travel Vaccinations

If you require a NHS vaccination relating to foreign travel, please complete our online travel form at least 3 days before your appointment.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 3 months before you travel - your immunisation schedule will depend on which countries and areas within countries that you will be visiting. You may need a second immunisation and/or need to allow time before you travel for a vaccine to take effect. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate the last-minute traveller.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide documentation for a covid vaccination pass. You will need to download the NHS app or contact 119 to request a written letter. (This can take one week to process.)

NHS Vaccines

At Woodbury Surgery we are able to offer those vaccines that are available under the NHS.

These are:

  • Diphtheria / Tetanus / Polio (combined vaccine)
  • Hepatitis A
  • Typhoid
  • Cholera

The NHS does not provide other travel vaccines or antimalarials.
