Advice For Travellers
At Woodbury Surgery we are able to offer those vaccines that are available under the NHS.
These are:
- Diphtheria / Tetanus / Polio (combined vaccine)
- Hepatitis A
- Typhoid
- Cholera
The NHS does not provide other travel vaccines or antimalarials.
Travel information is available on the Fit For Travel website
If you require travel vaccines that are not available on the NHS or more detailed advice about complex travel, you should contact a specialist travel clinic.
If you would like us to administer NHS vaccines, please book an appointment with the nurse 3 months prior to travelling. Please complete our Travel Risk Assessment at least 3 days before your appointment. Your immunisation schedule will depend on which countries and areas within countries that you will be visiting. You may need a second immunisation and/or need to allow time before you travel for a vaccine to take effect. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate the last minute traveller.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide documentation for a covid vaccination pass. You will need to download the NHS app or contact 119 to request a written letter. (This can take one week to process.)
