How to Make and Cancel an Appointment

We have introduced an Online triage tool that enables our GPs to conduct consultations more efficiently.

eConsult provides an online portal where you can self-check your symptoms, and receive on the spot medical advice 24/7. Helping to relieve pressure on GPs by giving you access to round-the-clock support and alternative treatment providers.

Routine Doctor’s Appointments can be booked online via SystmOnline

Initial login details can be obtained from the Practice reception. A form of personal identification may be required.

Once you have registered to use the online services, you will have access to making future requests online including booking and cancelling appointments and ordering your next repeat prescription.

Find out how to register for the online services

All clinics are by appointment only.

It is possible to view, book and cancel GP appointments via the internet. These services are available 24 hours a day. If you wish to use these services just ask us to register you for online services when you next come to the surgery. Please bring proof of identity eg passport or photo driving license. We will give you a user name and password which will allow you to log in to the website.

Each day we reserve a number of appointments for any urgent problems that need to be seen that day.  If you feel you need to be seen urgently contact us as early in the day as possible and tell the receptionist.  We will always try to ensure you are seen by the doctor of your choice, however he/she may not be available at short notice.

Extended Hours

We now offer telephone appointments between 07.30 and 08.00 on Monday mornings.  Pre-bookable face to face appointments with a doctor or nurse are available each Wednesday between 18:00 and 19:00. These are primarily aimed at improving access for working patients, though they are not exclusively reserved for full-time workers.  If you would like one of these appointments please contact reception or book online via SystmOnline.  Please note that our full range of services will not be available during these times.

Practice Nurses

You may wish to consider booking an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many aspects of your healthcare and you may be seen more quickly.

Telephone Advice

Telephone consultations with a doctor can be booked online or by contacting reception.  If you need to speak to a dispenser please phone between 11am and 1pm.

You can also ring NHS111 (just dial 111) for advice on health related matters.

Please endeavour to keep your appointments and arrive on time. If you no longer require or are unable to keep an appointment for any reason please let us know as soon possible so it can be offered to someone else. If you are late for your appointment you may be asked either to rebook or to wait until the end of surgery.
